How do you find your faith? I do like the look of them, I not to sure how Patrick eggle is attached to faith or even if he is. I tried one of his guitars the are stunning but a bit to expensive for me. If the faith are anywhere near for that price they a bargain.

Dave,

i have a third hand Ayers DSM (Australian) which sounded ok, I checked it out on the www and their spec. said they fit D'Addario EXP16 (.012 coated phospher bronze) so I fitted a set of those and immediately everything improved - bass, trebles, sustain and volume. Being ready for a change strings,I changed to the brass pins for a direct comparison .and was pleased with a further enrichment.

I was recommendedto try Elixir anti-rust coated strings, so fitted those with the brass pins. The result a full but bright sound finger style, and (after slipping a .015" shim under the saddle), they will survive a heavy strum without buzzing. The sound from my Fishman Natural II underbridge transducer is also improved.

My emails told me you had left a forum reply, but I can't find it, still a bit thick about this site!!

I have finally fitted the brass pins and new strings - its a different (better)guitar!

Know I haven't, is it as good?

XTC are one of the most underrated bands of all time I think.

I do have pretty wide musical tastes my main but tastes are of a folky nature such as fairort, burt, john martyn, flook etc

What are you into?

Carl.
