Hi,

I knew when I saw the picture of your guitar with the sloping front that I had seen an article about a guitar built on a similar principle.

A quick search through my old magazine articles, and in Acoustic Guitar, February 1996 (Issue 38) is an article about a guitar called The Millenium by a Luthier called Thomas Humphrey (www.thomashumphrey.com).

He advocates that the strings should come off the soundboard at a greater angle and his guitar has the neck tilted up so that the nut is about 2” higher than the plane of the sound board.

Thanks again for putting your guitar in the gallery, I like to see adventures in guitar making.

Seite. Deinem Thumbnail nach magst Du Robert Johnson. Die Musik finde
ich auch sehr gut. Meistens spiele ich auf einer meiner Takamine
Gitarren. Ich mag immer noch sehr die Klassikgitarre. Ich habe zwei
Takamines, eine CP 132 und eine Hirade 8. Beides sehr ausgewogene
Instrumente. Ich möchte wieder mehr spielen und habe jetzt auch mehr
Zeit. Ich habe auch eine Sammlung von Takamine Ltd Gitarren
(Steelstring mit preamp) und mehrere Solidbodies von Gibson und Fender.
Deine Fotos sind interessant.
