MY RATING: 0.00

My little "farm" in North Portugal which keeps me busy in the summer. Used to have goats - peaceful and sort of intelligent - bit like me (not to look at!

Sometimes. Better at the cinema.

I play mandolin, guitar and fiddle and sing in a band (ReaversRant). When the guy with the motorbike who rides up and down my road lets me, I write and record stuff too. Styles depend on who is around me. Tends to be folk, classical or electric guitar, for which I wear a heavy disguise. Favourite guitarists; Richard Thompson, Johnny Smith, Django, Segovia etc etc

Mostly when I'm on holiday. No particular preferences.

My Paul Shippey Mandolin and Andy Manson acoustic.

Noise like loud TVs and people shouting. Loud music is fine. People who do nothing and moan about being bored

I'm not really 106. My friends find that hard to believe.

Hi and welcome (here and there!), great to have you on board.

Loved your recordings, very professional. I have a feeling that you will enjoy BenT and Jomi's recordings over at Zingingstrings too, take the time to check them out.

Would love to hear more of your music, please post lots!

Hope we speak soon!

yeah i'd definately like to go to some of the sessions.
When I've got a car it will be easier, because public transport isn't overly reliable lol.
I wouldn't play, but i'd absorb.
Hopefully getting myslef down to one of the folk clubs in southampton soon. Am really looking forward to it.
Hoep all is well

Hi Richard

Welcome to the forum. I find it hard to believe you're not 106 too.

Paul
