Title: Good acoustics don't cost a fortune

Blog Entry: Yes I'm guilty, and it's only recently that I've realised that acoustic guitars don't begin and end with Martins, Taylors and Gibsons. I am the proud owner of a Crafter J12, Vintage V300 and a Art & Lutherie Ami. Collectively these guitars cost me new under six hundred pounds. All play superbly and have never let me down. I did a lot of research before buying, and as an IT Luddite, I have to say I found the Internet invalueable. Whether it been online forums or various retail sites. It's also good that Acoustic and Guitar magazine give column space to affordable but good reliable instruments. Both my Vintage and A&L were purchased over the net, and both played superbly out of the box. Overall it's great that we have so much choice and great discounts.
