It is Carpe Diem pure, a life lived deeply means a life lived with great joy and great pain, often at the same time. A life lived on the very edge of control, sometimes spiralling out of control. But in all cases, a life truly lived. One of the great movies of all time. The Three Colors Trilogy is brilliant; Casablanca, The Seventh Seal, , Unbearable Lightness of Being. oOtting Hill. The Matrix. Too many more to name!

I like all music - but accoustic / folk is my favourite. Kate Rusby, Karine Polwart, John Prine, Dylan. Other music includes Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, Patti Smith. Beethoven and Dylan are the two best, I'm looking for a third to make it a trinity. Just trying to be orthodox...

Mmmm. Books. Too many to try to name. Milan Kundera and C P Snow are my faves. But I'll read anything.
