just registered on the site. Not many people here at the moment so ithought I'd blog. I'm 48 and just started playing guitar 12 weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it
. When starting I rembered 3 chords from my youth D, A, & E taught to me by my cousin. This gave something to start with and i have since expanded my knowledge using 3 chord books and practising 3 to 5 hours a day. My fingers tips have gone from sore to bleeding and now rock solid. And something really pleased me this week, I was sat practising at lunch on Wednesday when some one reconised what I was playing and told me so and started to sing along
. Then other people started telling me they too reconised the songs
How pleased am I. I still haven't stopped grinning
