Default Guitar Set-up

Hi,

I've just bought a second hand Takamine 460.
I'm looking for some-one to give it the once over and set it up correctly.
Have just moved to Edinburgh so i don't know anyone here who could do it.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the area??

Cheers

Hi,

Sorry to take so long to reply, I sometimes forget to scroll the page down to see all the forums (should that be fora?).

Anyway, I'm based in Glasgow, with a few shops local to me who can do a good setup, the best of them being Moon Guitars in Glasgow.

Not too sure of dedicated guitar techs in Edinburgh (although there must be plenty), but I was impressed with the acoustic guy in GuitarGuitar (Glasgow branch). I'm sure that GuitarGuitar in Edinburgh will have a similarly qualified tech who could check your set up and make any necessary adjustments, hopefully for about £20.

Good luck anyway.

In Latin, the plural is "fora", because the noun "forum" follows the second type of declension and has neutral gender. For this type of declension, you have a nominative singular neutral noun ending in "-um", and its corresponding nominative plural ends in "-a".

And yes, Scan, I DID have to look that up!
