This is a new series starting tonight on Beeb1 so for those of you who don't read this email until after the programme you can watch it on iplayer

looks good has all different guitar styles also Bert Weedon on it, didn't know he was still alive.Nobody under 108 will know who he was.

Nice one. I will have to look out for this.

I have an old video somewhere (remember videos?) - a beginners tutorial by Bert. Three chords and you could be an expert in 12 bar blues.

Off to look at the TV listings now.

Bert, on a kid's programme on ITV, and his tutor book, "Play in a Day", which I bought in 1962 with my first guitar, was the start of it all for me, though I reckon I'm still waiting to find out which particular day I will be able to play in!

Thumbs up update on the guitar proggy

apparently on Beeb 4 on Friday next its .......yes you've guessed, guitar night!!!!!

There is Julian Bream in concert with John Williams and Stepehn Grapelli and at 10pm there is a programme called Guitar heroes. On later with Jools H which includes appearances by Buddy Guy, Clapton, Pete Townsend ( who now appears to be calling himself Peter , Santana, Jimmy Page,

Should be someone there for most of us

no Quo though!!!!!!

It was repeated last night at 10.20 pm on BBC 1...excellent and interesting....I'm amazed nobody else seems to have seen it!
