Default 12th Ards International Guitar Festival

Just wondered if anyone is planning on visiting Ards International Guitar Festival, 7-19 October 2008?

Just happens to fall over my birthday so I got the family to chip in for a few tickets for me to see some chaps that I keep reading about in Acoustic. I can't wait.

As well as a free tour of the Avalon Guitar factory I plan to see

Gordon Giltrap (maybe all that Tab will become clear overnight!)
Bob Brozman
Guy Buttery
Adrian Legg (another familiar name from the mag)
Johnny Dickinson and Paul Lamb.

I will also check out the Classical Guitar Society who put on a free show every year.

Great festival - further info from www.ardsguitarfestival.co.uk

Cheap flight into Belfast make it handier than some of the festivals in distant parts of the mainland.

Do you think if I tell the guys at Avalon it's my birthday they will give me a free hand?

Mo
