Bluegrass, when it’s done well, is my personal favourite area of acoustic music, and these Nashville-based boys certainly do it right. All six members can sing, write and play extraordinarily well, and songs like ‘Leave You Behind’, ‘Poor Boy’s Delight’ and ‘Letter From Prison’ stir the emotions in such a manner as only this type of music can. Chris Eldridge’s guitar and Andy Hall’s dobro, in particular, are a delight, but it’s the combination of the six that makes this such a fun album.
