Jake Bugg has announced details of his biggest UK solo tour so far.
The 18-year-old, from Nottingham, will play nine dates, beginning in Bournemouth in October and ending in Manchester.
The singer is nominated for best breakthrough act at the 2013 Brit Awards, and is also up for two NME Awards.
He became the youngest British male to debut at number one when his self-titled album was released in October last year.
‘It’s something that I would have liked to have happened, but I never thought it would.’
‘I was baffled when it did, I just wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t know what was going to happen when it was released.’
This year, Jake will also play Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks, Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as supporting the Stone Roses at their summer gigs.
