Just don’t lose this pocked-sized pedal
TC Electronic claims to have taken a completely new approach to looping with its new Ditto Looper aimed solely at guitarists playing live. The neat design is simplicity itself and takes up virtually no space on guitarists’ pedal boards, TC Electronic’s product manager for guitar says, but offers a stunning set of features.
The question that the Denmark-based company set out to solve was how to create a looper that did not require a degree in rocket science to work out all the functionalities.
Despite its deceptively simple looks Ditto Looper offers True Bypass – wherever you stand on the debate on whether that switching set-up is blessing or a liability – plus Analogue Dry-Through. It has up to five minutes of looping time, 24 bit uncompressed super-high audio quality, an undo/redo function to help build songs and unlimited overdubs. It is immodestly marketed as the smallest looper in the world.
